I am trying to wire a trip computer into and EF XR8, but I don't know which is pin 14 on the instrument cluster plug, (which way round do I count from)

I have in instructions to wire it in from this site but don't know where the data line from the Trip computer goes to (Which pin) is it a blank one or does pin 14 have an existing wire to tap into in the cluster plug????

Thats with flat side of the plug face up.

Thanks mate, mine has no wire in pin 14, but how do I actually get the wire in there so it will stay?? I just poked it in but I blew the cluster fuse (It must of touched another pin)

well the smart thing is to get a very (i mean very) small connector to stick it inside the plug. but i could not find one small enough at any place in town. so i just frayed the strands and shoved it in the plug and it worked fine. just make sure they dont touch other pins
