I am trying to wire a trip computer into and EF XR8, but I don't know which is pin 14 on the instrument cluster plug, (which way round do I count from)
I have in instructions to wire it in from this site but don't know where the data line from the Trip computer goes to (Which pin) is it a blank one or does pin 14 have an existing wire to tap into in the cluster plug???? thank you, Aaron..... |

Thanks mate, mine has no wire in pin 14, but how do I actually get the wire in there so it will stay?? I just poked it in but I blew the cluster fuse (It must of touched another pin)

well the smart thing is to get a very (i mean very) small connector to stick it inside the plug. but i could not find one small enough at any place in town. so i just frayed the strands and shoved it in the plug and it worked fine. just make sure they dont touch other pins
