Hi!
Decided to start saving for a complete Turbo setup but have a couple worries and questions in my mind that I'm hoping some of you could help me with. Is the I6 engine strong enough in itself to support 250-300rwkw? Would reinforced pistons, conrods, etc. be a must and a worthy investment? I'm still in the planning stage at this point and have these things written down so far: - Stage 4 Turbo Kit - EMS 8860 ecu - Cam + Springs, Valves, Timing Gear, etc. - Head Ported & Polished - Reinforced Pistons, Conrods, etc. (what else part from the pistons and conrods needs to be redone? Crankshaft or something?) - 3" Exhaust - EL Distributor (running the EF coil pack at present) Is there anything else that I need to look into upgrading/reinforcing? Any replies are 'preciated!

don't want to be the one but using the search feature... or look in the forced induction forums cause there are thousands of turbo conversion threads and queastions...
and also there is a turbo conversion sticky.. the stock block can support the power you want but it to ensure a good motor it wouldn't hurt.. Auto or manual?

Auto or manual? ohhh yeah lol should have went to forced induction my bad auto at present, manual soon though - be better off with a manual ay? or a quick shift or somethin

You're likely to find it cheaper and easier to build a tough auto.. it'll end up being quicker down the strip anyway.
Best bet would be to read through the turbo forum... a wealth of information awaits you!

lol if its auto now, and manual later dont do your diff just yet. they are two different beasts.
stick wiht the auto it will handle more power in the end.
