hi, how do i get the 4.0 badges on the guards on my ed fairmont where the repeater blinker lights are to look new again and bring that chrome/silver back because im putting clear repeaters on along with clear lenses on the front blinkersand want to get the 4.0 badge shine back again along with the other chrome strips and the chrome fairmont badge.

what stuff do i need to respray the black with in the dash/console to bet the black trims to look new again

please give me any information

Hey, i got my badges of ebay not new but vgc, if you mine the renewing the chrome side strip on your eb fairmont this is what i did. I bought new chrome inserts off ebay from seller bayford parts (you can only get front and back inserts, he told me you cant get side moluds anymore-bummer!!) But i pulled off the old chrome side stuff and used some chrome tape i got from my mate a panel beater (used to runs to cover not wide enuff)- it aint perfect but its not bad.

try soaking them in a glass of coke for a bit then a gentle scrub with a tooth brush. The acid in it should take any gunk off them. May not bring up the chrome but will deffinatly clean them up.
Or check out bronzingstudio.com.au they may be able to recoat them for you.
