Hi Guys,
I got some Competition Pacemakers, and a high flow metal cat, it cost $1000 to get it put on at right price exhaust in springwood. They even replaced my centre muffler under warrenty from over a year ago.
I was amazed at the induction noise, it sounds awsome, It is hard to pick if it is much more powerfull then before, but I am going to put that down to the end of winter and its lovely cool driving air. I have a g'tech and it does a 0-100 in 7.6 seconds @ 25 degrees, before I got them, I managed a 7.9 @ 5 degrees.

What extractors did you guys get, did you notice a very big difference. what 0-100 times do you guys get, with similar mods (see sig)

Cheers

I second that, especially the suspension and brakes. Top effort mate

I have HM headers on a VCT and they make a noticble difference over the standard manifold.

The standard cast-iron manifold looks like what you find on old tractors. lol..lol..

I noticed more engine noise at full throttle coming through the firewall after fitting the pacemaker 4499's tri-y and better performance.

I had enough of the crap au1 brakes and the fact that any upgrades only suited the au2 onwards, so I got the front end off a bf xr6, it had 20,000k's. So that was the upper and lower control arms, sway bar and the twin piston brakes. The only mod to the car was to attach the sway bar brackets, we just drilled through the chassis rails and put high tensile bolts through.

I must say, having the newer shocks and sway bar makes the car ride flatter and it feels a bit softer but still handles well.

I think you get a bit more induction noise because of the scavenging effect of the extractors, creating a higher vacum on the intake side? Thats all I could think of...
