Gidday

Follow the link in my sig to my build thread. I have an EL Engine in my EBII.

There is a list of what you need in the thread.

Cheers

Yes, you have to mod the loom. It isn't that hard, and I did mine without the BBM to work from.

You will also have to add several wires for the BBM Solenoid and from the ECU.

Well worth it if you are game.

Or, pay someone to do it.

If you don't want to do any wiring work at all then you would have to run the log manifold and the three belt setup. This is the cheapest way and probably the least work, if you fit an EL motor that is, but there is a reasonable chance you'll regret the decision. I did the above to my XG, and while i don't regret it, i am now doing a full AU conversion to my EBII.

Actually, you could use the bbm but not have it switch to the short runners. You would have to swap the engine wiring harnesses, and unless you are patient and maybe lucky as well you would have to modify it too. In the overall scheme of things the wiring work is not much. Maybe it's time to learn about wiring?
