I have booked my fairlane in for an e-Gas upgrade/conversion.
Just wanted to know if it would be at all possible to run the fuel gauge via the instrument/dash cluster so there would be no reason to install a gay looking LPG gauge towards the bottom of the dashboard. I have found myself an original Dual Fuel switch that will allow me to change between gas/petrol. So the switch ain't really an issue. Thanks in advance |

Yeah they can, My EL ghia runs off the main gauge. They intergrate the gas sender wire with the gauge not a problem. when you switch fuels the gauges change. It can take a little while to recieve the correct reading. They look heaps better than the crappy aftermarket installs especially on a nice ghia!

Would you know what hardware/components i would need to purchase in order to get it done?
Been looking online found 1 type of unit that may do it however the guy says that the unit has been discontinued. |

The Tickford systems use the fuel gauge.
I hate the awefull aftermarket unit on my car. You can't see it without moving your head forward to see past the steering wheel. I have been looking to fit one of the in-dash integrated type switch guages that are available.

I've got the same car, and am considering getting it converted. Just wondering how your conversion went?
Also, which system did you go with? Ben |
