Bunter said he used EF/EL door rubbers and i think he said he also used EF/EL window rubbers for all doors.

Get the rubbers from your local wreckers will cost you less than half the price of new.

as for weatherstrips use EF/EL Wagon rears, thats what bunter said he used in his mirror docco.

Yes i already have aquired EF/l rubbers everywhere, from my ef parts car.

Problem with getting more from the wreckers is, its extremly hard to remove them and retain the clips, the rubbers aren't always good, and i have some.

the EF/EL doors rubbers will fit on earlier boxcar doors im running later model rubbers on mine and they fitted up sweet as a nut.

remember that they are the same door dont let anyone tell you different.

Yes i know that fit, thats why i'm going with them, that and the seal better anyway.

Actually the rear doors on sedans are different from EA/B/D to EF/l. on the back of the quarter glass, the door is shaped to protrude more, and this is the difference.

EDIT: just read how stupid this sounds, i was refering to the plastic cover thing that goes on the outside of the door surrounding the quarter glass. The door tiself in identical.

This is no problem for the rubbers though.

Well i am glad to announce that i found some of the clips.

I went into clark rubber this arvo, and they had nothing. She suggested the AUTOBARN over the road. I have tried a few places like this, but had no success.

Anyway, i almost didn't bother, but decided to walk over anyway just for the hell of it. Suprisingly, they had heaps! A pack of 15 was 4 slides, and they had 3 packs left, and they are the exact thing i needed! $12 later i had them.

Anyway, i just tried them to fit my right rear EF door seal properly, and the worked like a charm. They have never been so secure, and seals heaps better now.

I guess tomorrow i'll be paying my dad a visit so i can get the other 3 EF seals.

WOOHOO!
