i have a AU XR6 Tickford and i need to change the Auo Trans.
Will a trans from an EA /EB fit ok ??

Bit of a backwards step going from an au trans to an early e series one...

But, in theory providing its just a standard 4speed btr it should work....I know people have put el transmissions in AU's, and I believe an el transmission can go into earlier models without any issues, so I can't see why it wouldn't go the other way.
