these are the servos that i buy gas from....do u guys think that theyre all the same quality or does it differ economy wise?
I remember a few years ago that I was getting less economy from one particular place, think it was an APCO or united place...it was noticeably less, like 10% or so.. question is, are the major brands like shell and BP any better?

be it petrol, gas or diesel yes the bigger companys such as caltex, BP, shell are better to stick to as opposed to united, liberty, etc etc.

just a added note,if you do the same thing each week,do a test with 3 brands,1 each week with trip meter until down to 10ltrs in tank, the mix will be unuseable as a guide if greater.i do it some times---back to bp,worst is woolies\caltex-wont go near it--may use it @ 20 cents\ltr.but it depends on your mods,comp.,cam-gas\petrol----btw gas cams love petrol-----petrol cams dont like gas, timming adv. and inital timming---------all play a role.

a bit more, the vn runs twin computers-pet\gas,gas cam and a twin chip.it blows the doors off v8s on gas\i only run petrol to maintain the injectors and run out of gas as a 2nd system-travelling out west,i put a kw limit on the motor to balance the o\all,body-stock,transmission-stock,brakes-vt ss twin piston,suspension-semi race.can throw more at it,but it is reliable,no breakages and i didnt want to over power the stock body--the stock brakes are like fords---better on a smaller car,and the v8 fords using i6 brakes----dont ask me to go THERE.

I would have to agree i get way less ks from Woolies/Caltex lpg not sure why. I think i get the best economy from Shell but i also think the car doesnt start as well when cold on Shell gas.

{USERNAME} wrote: How much do the discount cards cost? there free and no purchase required, apply to bp in your state, get 2 cents off per litre, been using them over 5-6 years, just show the card before you pay for gas, some dont do it-the ones with a yellowish logo do as part of there green image programme, enjoy the saving.

If you new the mixing ratio that shell uses in the Lpg blend you'd understand why its crap....from what I've heard E-gas is supose to be pretty good, but the only way to find out which works for you is to try them for your self & see how the car performs......
