hi peoples,I have no heater in my na fairlane. i have run a full diagnostics, read all of your forums on the subject.blend servo is working[according to the computer] all vac hoses are working,switches etc i'ts driving me nuts.not to mention my mechanic.Any more ideas?apart from sending me some matches.

Is the hot water tap working ????
Perhaps your heater unit is blocked. Diconnect the hoses under the hood and flush it out.

I flushed the system the core' s not blocked.heater valve operates ,normal running engine temp.question?would the coolant temp sensor have anything to do with the heater operation?

are the steel hoses from the water pump and to the thermostat housing ok (not blocked/rusted) is the heater tap actually operating, you should see the lever from the vacum diaphram move.
