just because uve got fuel and spark doesnt mean you have the right amount of them....timing could be way out and your fuel could be too lean or rich to fire

but it should still fire .. back fire or cough but i get nuthin ... and i would find it hard to believe the timing went out the timing chain is still tensioned and turning ? Its a real stumper

how do you un flood an efi car ... if thats possible and perhaps a cause

Disconect the injector plugs and wind it, and make sure you throttle is flat to the floor,
after a while reconect the injecotrs and try that, How was the timing, and just as a thought, take of the oil filler cap and have someone wind it over, and make sure the cam is turning over,

You dont need to disconnect the injectors - the act of holding the throttle to the floor while cranking tells the ford ecu's to turn the injectors off anyway. Designed to fix the flooding problem.
