hi,

yeah as im doing the cluster led mod, i want to have red needles instead of clear, can i use some kind of paint on the needles, or maybe use 3mm red leds pointed at the needle mechanism or simmilar, i want the dials a bluey-white and the needles a strong bright red - i guess simmilar to the ba fairmont etc

any tips?

tamiya make clear red paint so give that a go it may just work

if ur going blue led's, then then the needle is going to need its own light source to light up red.
blue light won't light up red very well at all.

im putting white leds with a cool colour temprature so they light up with a tinge of blue. has anyone tried putting little red leds only for the purpose of needle illumination?
