the other day I had my convertor freeze up so just flicked to petrol and kept driving (not late to work and no need to get a tow truck or taxi)
So you'd rather risk cooking your engine than be late to work ???

who said it was due to low coolant????

it was a blocked convertor...

LPG kills heads that arnt set up for them properly....factory spec falcon heads will generally not last as long on LPG as on petrol

thats not to say i dont like LPG...I do

but, getting back to the point - I would get absolutely zero advantage by going dedicated gas instead of dual fuel on my stock EF

If you bought the car with dual fuel. Yes leave it. But if you are getting the car converted. I would say take the fuel system out. You dont need it.
i had a straight gas car for 3 years. Only run out of gas once. That was because of my brother running it empty.

WE had a LPG shortage here in adel a few weeks ago, glad I had dual fuel. Scuba and full size tank for me.
I like the idea of going on a trip with petrol in reserve...

Hey All,

Got my car converted last week! It's great! Very clean system! Great bunch of blokes to deal with as well! I got 400kms to the tank and it wasn't fully fully empty and that was my first tank. I filled up the other day at 58.9c p/litre and i had 61.L in the tank and it costed $37-.

Impco system with a half cut! I'd highly recommend AG GAS CONVERSIONS IN LILYDALE. Speak to either John or Jed.
