just chucked a set of AU injectors in and wow, heaps more throttle resolution in the low rpm and much less hesitation.
before the injectors where changed, the tacho jumped around and the car felt like it had a miss. had all the ignition replaced, no good. however the shaking isn't as bad now. when i first started having problems, the things i noticed where that 100m down the road first thing in the morning the engine would try to stall out. that bad habit is now gone. the other was after the starter disengaged, the engine would cough or skip a little. like it didnt quite catch on that particular cylinder. its not head gasket! could be manafold gasket, as the shaking isnt noticable at speed however, i feel that with the mods the motor has, it is lacking power. so with that intreging set of clues, can anyone pin down exactly whats going on here?

Have you checked for a vacuum leak ? Or checked around the Gaskets you suspect ? spraying something like soapy water on the gasket joins ? |

timing might be a bit out? hence the lack of power and the stuttering on start up.
apart from that is the cat in good condition. whilst that could explain the lack of power, i doubt it would explain the stuttering.

When you replaced your injectors did you check your fuel filter as well?
How about your distritubor? Mine seems to lack power as well, so I am replacing my fuel filter, fuel regulator and possibly the distributor. As SgtBourne said...check timing as well as your cat... phong =P~

Thats a great bit of help right there. I also have i small miss on light throttle, and have changed everything besides the injectors. I might fit some au's and see if it fixes it.

cats fine, reg and line hold vac fine when i suck on them (however this isn't a diffinitive test i wouldnt think)
filter was replaced with injectors. timing SHOULD be ok, however stranger things have happened. i might just have a little play with it myself and see if i can get it right i spose. PIMP_LTD - i almost garrenty that a set of au's will change your out look on life. deffinately has for me. does any know ALL the vac lines to be checked for? i checked to the fuel reg and MAF. are there any others?
