I am having a little trouble putting the bolt for the harmonic balancer back in it seems like it is too big, has any one else run into this issue? alternatively can any one suggest a way to get piston 1 to top dead centre, so i can check the timing?

What about turning the flexplate/flywheel, or is the engine in the vehicle? Manual or auto?
