Ba auto on turbo is it the same auto as non turbo if not can a stock auto be used and if there is a difference does anyone know what it is.Cheers.

i would expect the turbo box to have stronger bands and parts inside to handle the extra power.

The turbo box is stronger.

I6's all have 93LEs, V8s all have 97LEs
The Turbos probably just have different tunes via the ECU to handle the tourque differently.. It's only an extra 70Nm odd I'd research it more, but that should help you understand basically.. I hope this helps Cheers, MaTTe |
