I need to replace mine and they come in two styles, with a pressure switch and without .. I'm not sure which one I need. It could be I put the wrong one on my EF when I did the CC upgrade so I don't want to use that as a rule, does any one know which the EF's came with ??

Ta,

My one has the pressure switch, it is an EF Mont one.

I'm guessing it'd need it for the CC to work, as with no pressure reading, mine use to never turn the compressor on till i sorted the switch.

hope this helps

Andrew.

Probably the condensor. The EF-EL's are known for their condensors s**t themselves.

And just a word of warning, don't get dobbed in by anyone who sees you doing AC work on your car without an AC license.! People can get money for dobbing you in and you get a decent fine!! So just be careful about when and where you do it. Or you could always take it to a licensed mech!

$5000 for venting refrigerant into the atmosphere if you know a refrigeration mechanic you could get him to recover the refrigerant but for the amount of refrigerant in the cars aircon system id vent it. just make sure no one is watching haha

May have a leak not sure, thought they would have found it last time. The condenser is the thing like a radiator infront of the radiator? That broke when parents still had the car, probably 6-8 years ago.
