Open it up, and have a look inside. If there's lots of burnt crap - bin it and buy a new one it'll be cheaper.
It's probaly just an internal fuse.

it should return to normal when you un-grounded it?
check somethings not shorting out (kinked, bare or pinched wire) |

Is the speaker still ok, reading 4ohms and higher? the voice coil windings may be shorted.

what amp is it? I should've mentioned re: warranty issue. But becasue he asked where to get it fixed.... Warranty - store you bought it from No Warranty - Do it yourself, or buy a new one - electronic repairs ain't cheap. If you do open it up, be sure to get lots of detailed pics, someone here maybe able to help long distance.

It wont be a blown fuse, it powers on but no output, first suggestion would be actually remove the fuse to power the unit down so it can resest itself, failing that disconnect the power wire from the amp to the battery, failing that disconnect the speaker and re-try the above. If still not working check if the trigger wire is shorting somewhere i had that happen to my and same symptoms

the warranty would be viod anyway as it was damaged buy the customer. there was no faulty workmanship with the amp itself. the repairer would find this out straight away.
