In the pic I want to paint the pillars Ive marked in blue.. black, but first I need help with removing some trim items marked red and yellow, can someone here throw me a bone as to how I remove or move said trim pieces.

the bits marked yellow you can remove by opening the the doors and using a small flat blade screwdiver, as for the red pieces you may have to wind the windows down to use long nose pliers to pull them out. if not you may have to remove the window. i hope this helps.

Thanks for that, so the bits marked yellow lift straight up I take it, and the bits marked red more or less just pull out and push back into place. The bits marked red can they still be bought brand new as one of them is looking a bit deformed..

dont forget the philips head screw inside the door underneath the edge of the window strip..
