AFAIK the headers between the two are exactly the same.
Of course they will fit both heads as the bolt pattern and port position are the same. Only difference being spark plug angle, but i believe the headers work on both and while the plugs may be a prick to change they are both do-able. Quote: Fair enough, I thought the S2 received the GT40s.
If not, where does it pick up the extra 15kw? Nope, they definately had E7's. Extra 15kw comes from Explorer Manifold, EL GT headers larger intake snorkle and different ECU "program".

The 185kW output was achieved with modifications to the intake manifold, bigger bore headers, EL GT-spec exhaust system and a more aggressive tune of the EEC-V management system. A 3.45:1 LSD also replaces the previous 3.23:1 unit and the final ELs examples are equipped with standard 16 inch wheels clad in 225/50 rubber. The suspension geometry is also improved over the EF

I just did a bit of googling on the subject, and yeh, found out exactly what you lot just posted lol.
And yeh, from what I just found, the extractors are the same, despite the different heads. |
