Hey guys,
I have an 96 ef gli with the air con fully serviced and working 100% though it is still not as cold as it should be... The air con tech said that it is running at about 7-8 deg and that is as good as most falcons will get, and from other falcons I have driven this seems to be true... While most Japanese cars will run at about 4-5 deg... The compressor seems to be cycling on and off about every 30-40 seconds and just as it gets cold it clicks off... As I am aware the air con temp sensor inside the evaporator tells the ecu when to turn it on and off... So my question is, is there anyway of holding the compressor on longer say for about 40-50 seconds? Any help would be much appreciated! Regards, ghiaguy. |
