They look better without the side windows.. thats how I ended up with the sundowner,, I saw it in a wrecker and it had no side windows.. had to have it.

later rang ford to find out what it was and was told it was a sundowner.. they hardly made any XC sundowners.. they were a trial run kinda for the XD.. so rair as... but the back end looks mint without the side windows.

There is a bright yellow BA XR6 panel van in my town. I see it all the time. It actually looks really good. :S

Hey fellas, its not a ford, but it has a Lincoln 9"..
I think the only thing still original is the fuel tank..
Obviously it's a work in progress, but it's well on it way to being rust free.. Eventually it'll be white like the roof.

Yeah the twin round lights look heaps better than the original lights, and heaps better than the rectangle XC lights..
I'm considering a 1967 Camaro RS grille, with the flip around lights.. would look clean, but im not 100% sure if the grille will suit..

Can't wait to have the 350 back on the road running around on gas..

Cheers,
MaTTe

Did you have to shorten the XC grill to fit it in.??

Doesn't look as wide as the one in my shed..
