Can some one tell me the signs of a dieing or sick lsd?

I think mines starting to make noises when corning, even heard a light thump today..

should i get it serviced (change fluid?) or just not worry about it cause its dieing anyway? I don't treat it well, with alot of burnouts (at wsid) and corner fast sometimes so yeah

a single spinner burnout usually means its getting a bit tired.

or if it makes f**k up noises like metal smashing mine did that it did doubles till the day it died, pinions chewed up the hemisphere and broke 2 of the spider gears

I pretty much did the same damage listed above to my diff, it was totally obliterated. Plenty of burnouts, over a year, then a loud knocking sound. Then it got worse and made a wheel of fortune sound all the time. Sometimes would clunk and I would feel the back of my car nudge itself. Then 1 day, I put the foot down to get past some1 and as it downgeared, I heard *BANG* and my drive effectively became neutral.
