That's similar to a setup idea i had using the original manifold and making a pipe that goes from that to the turbo, then i got the stage 4 snort manifold and kinda went nuts from there  not the best but would work.

Its not really a setup though as the seller described as there is a hell of alot more parts that's needed for a turbo setup than just a mounted turbo

The turbo on its own would be worth the $600???? the rest is very average..........

Is this worth me buying? I wanna go turbo, was going to fabricate the gear myself, but if this deal is good then i may consider just doing so.

Andrew.

well for ease of install yes, as it will bolt up to a factory manifold

great idea!

but in terms of power/boost and response i doubt it

more than likely why this was taken off the car

LOL that comment brings back memories of myself!!

I was gonna turbo my old EF.

Bought a T60 turbo and a waste gate, built my own manifold, installed a GRA gas system and even trial mounted an intercooler!!

In the end i just got lazy and got a BA XR6T and never looked back!

Heres my 8 page thread on my EF turbo project >>>http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39102&start=0<<<
