hey guys
My brakes on my EF are very stiff, they do brake but with 10 times the amount of pushing force required to bring the car to a stop. The pedal does not fall when i start the car like it use too, so would it have to do with the booster leaking? or master cylinder? also it seems brake fluid loss is happening as well but there are no visible leaks... Any help would be good guys.. |

You've probably already done this but check if the vacuum hose is still connected to both the brake booster and manifold.

If pedal doesnt fall, booster is U/S, all connections are on there? and connected to manifold? the pivot points inside the pedal box, for the brake pedal, have sleeves for ease of movement, kit the M/C, if its suss, might as well overhaul the whole system, while your there. Cant be to careful with brakes.

Yeah sounds like your booster is playing up. Check the vacc. hose to the booster on both ends (manifold and booster). If it's all connected sweet I'd be looking at changing the booster.
They're about $150 s/h from wreckers and take about 1/2 hour to replace.
