Hi,
I'm just wondering how you guys are distributing the battery power. As in are you using some kind of a block, i'm just asking because i will be putting in the amp power cable there. I'm stumped...how would i connect the cable to the battery? What would i need to connect it to the terminal? I know how to run the cable from there to the amp. And this also could help other newbies like myself. I'm not sure if this has been answered but the search is not really that good on this site (needs a tune). Ans also pictures would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi mate,
prob the best way to get a good connection would be to get an aftermarket battery terminal as the ford one aren't the greatest, all you need then is run the power cable to a fuse in your engine bay then from the fuse to amp itself. Heres a pic of my engine bay, hope its what your after. {DESCRIPTION} Regards Trent

Agreed, the best way is to use replacement battery terminals, they have a variety of holes so you can fit in the various cable sizes you need, and they look nicer (even the most cheap and nasty one) than the factory ones.

Hey, Thanks for the pic.
I was wondering more of how you connected the cable to your battery. As mine and most others have the red cable connected with a whole lota other cables to the battery with the ring plug. Would i have to open that up and put the Amp Cable with the rest?? is there other options?? Have a Distribution Block or something?? I need to know how you guys set thet up also if you have pics just post it up so i can see what you've done and mention how you went and above questions. Thanks

By far the simplest way (and what I've done on my GT-P) is stick a ring terminal on the amp cable, and just add it to the bolt that clamps the terminal onto the battery.
The other option (what I did on my EL), is get a replacement terminal block, and reterminate all the power cables with it.

Gear is from Jaycar. I bought all of that over 4 years ago, prices won't be accurate any more.
