hi there first timer the el does not start strait away but if you leave the key inthe on position for 2-3 secs it will start could it be the fuel pump telling me some thing if so are they hard to replace ?

fuel pumps are easy to replace if thats your issue

If you can hear the fuel pump prime upon putting the ignition to on, then fuel pump is fine.

Check your fuel filter. Might be blocked to s**t causing fuel line to take longer to pressurize as well as missing while driving.

filter, or to a lesser extent the injectors. pump is worse case

mates 323 was blocked to the s**t, cranked far too long. new filter, hasnt missed a beat

filter located under the rear passengers floor. be carefull not to strip or crossthread

I got a brand new fuel pump for sale, $20, all you need is the special tool to open the lid(which i have here somewhere).. Simple task, like changing a air filter...

I second the stripping thing.... I did exactly that, had to cut the pipes, put a frigen holden filter (against all my beliefs), with hose clamps
