I have a EFXR 6,which has a cough or spluter(for the use of better term)
anhow happens at idle about every 20 to 30 secs.
Since i have had some mild head work and extractors fitted ,it sends the rpm into wild fluctuations of about 400rpm sometimes stalling the engine.
I have been told its common and no major prob ,but its now made traffic jams a nightmare(no escaping them on sydney rds)
Any ideas would be a help!!!!!

mine did the idle fluctuation thing, put a new oxygen sensor in and it made a huge difference.

get the injectors cleaned and or check your fault codes to see if a sensor is playing up.
