so far ive only used the product "tint shade's"... works very well... for under $20 a can.. have only sprayed it on the outside of the lense so far.. did lose a lil shine but can remedy that by sanding the lese once dry with 2000 grit sand paper and a quick polish with car wax..

thats a really cool idea, that would come up really well i imagine for another thing to try have a look in my build thread (link in sig) on the second page is pics of my modded tail lights. its a bit different to what you are trying to achieve, but imo its a more professional looking way of doing it |

i found the best wat to do it on my escort (RIP), was to hold the can about 20cm away and used the spray gun attachment, i used a combination of black and clear.
