I got some quotes recently on e-gas mixers . . .

$325 new genuine ford
$675 secondhand from wrecker A
$165 secondhand from Wrecker B

Also be careful it's not off a million kilometre taxi with a worn butterfly shaft/bearing. I don't know if this kind of wear can happen, i just think it may be wise to be careful.

what a f..k wit rip off bastard.....the whole s**t taxi that they got it off wouldnt have cost them that much!!

Both quotes were from 'reputable' wrecker C, who was sourcing from other wreckers unknown to me. They tell me wrecker B is reputable and would not buy taxi's as the parts off them are stuffed. What do you think? I think i will check the butterfly shaft and if it seems unhappy to me i will reject it. I'm not expert at assessing this, any suggestions? It's a loong drive so if it's stuffed i won't be happy.
