Anyone know what can cause the smart lock light not to flash when the vehicle is off?

If it's an EF I'd look at the CRT LP fuse in the glovebox, that also feeds the BEM which includes the smartlock. If the car is operating normally, ie the BEM is working fine, then I'd say the bulb for the smartlock indicator has died.
Just my thoughts, comments and opinions. Cheers |

You thought right. CRT_LAMP fuse. But if the car is working right (i.e. it starts), there's something else at fault. Wiring to the cluster messed up? (it isn't getting power when the ignition is off?)

Not 100% sure what the problem was but fixed now. I wiggled all the plugs, replaced the BEM, tried a BEM bypass, and then the fuse blew (definately wasn't blown before), replaced that and she's all happy now. |
