Have a look for the Ultimas (aka ultraride) on there.
I paid just under $300 for a set of 4 shortened to replace my KYBs. Much firmer ride and the EB just sticks to the road through the corners now.

I ran those KYB's with King Lows on my old EB and
they went really well. |

Thanks for the feedback guys...
I found another link for a pair of Monroe GT Gas struts for the EB for $150... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/EA-EB-ED-Ford-Falcon-Sedan-Front-Monroe-Struts_W0QQitemZ190263659146QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190263659146&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Also, an Ultraride kit... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FALCON-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-SHOCK-PACKAGE-NEW_W0QQitemZ270299008938QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270299008938&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Or the KYB, as listed in the first post... Which of the three choices would you guys recommend? Much appreciated! |

I would personally go KYB.
They are a decent shock for the money. That 'UltraRide' kit is for all 4 btw.

I installed the KYB's after a pair of Monroe GT gas had bit
the dust after only 9 months. (Monroe gave me my money back, plus the cost of the new install) So my vote goes with the KYB. |
