I know the sixes are 2000. Id say at a guess the v8s would be the same.

surley not 2000 rpm. i was thinking 1700-1800?

You don't understand how many times ive had this argument on here.

Ive had it so many times i videoed my dads stock as a rock EBII and put it on you-tube.....

Take note though, it was dead cold, 12am, and the car was in reverse (so it didn't go through the garage). It shows just over 1900rpm, but when the converters hot it'll stall at 2000. Every Falcon ive had and driven will stall to 2000.

ah so my ED does have a hi-stall then! mine stalls up at 2400rpm. the mechanic was trying to tell me it was normal stall...
