OK , there are a heap on ebay, at good prices, black finish,
Anybody,
How do they fit?
How good are the electric's?
Are the electric's compatible with the control?? (EF Fairmont)
If left unpainted, how do they look in 6 months?

(made the mistake of parking(legally) in an inner city street where someone had p****d on the lamp posts and marked the space off as private property, got both mirrors destroyed for my crime)

If they have a black finish they are the Falcon mirrors as the Fairmont ones where colour coded.

hes talking about aftermarket ones effii not standard replacements...

if you have a look on ssv.com.au and search under ef fairmont they have a few the are compatible i believe... so maybe you could compare them to the ebay ones... im sure there would be a few that are the same... have you considered just getting standard ones from a wreckers... im personally not a fan of the aftermarket ones available... to ricey for me...

Cheers Cam

Nothing wrong with the stock replacement ones on ebay. I have had a drivers one on my EF for 2 or 3 months, looks identical, the quality of the finish is fine. Electrically, plugs straight in of course, and as it is new it works better than the passenger one which is an original ford item. I think i paid 38 + 12 postage roughly...

EFII, the have the same mirrors, just painted. Goodluck buying new mirrors that arent black...
