I have a 4.0 OHC in my XG running AEB electrics and OMVL converter. I never use the petrol and the injectors are not functioning. I start it on the middle setting of the switch / gauge

Is it possible to remove fuel tank, fuel rails and injectors and just run straight LPG. I want to start it by turning the key without switching to the middle setting

I think the AEB gauge switch unit also includes the safety switch circuit.

What is required for the conversion to plug up injector holes etc?

Thanks

why does it need to be started with the switch in the middle pos instead of in the lpg pos?

AEB normally starts on injectors and then switches to gas. Centre position of switch is to start on gas. You then need to move to LPG setting for gauge to work

I'm running an impco system, did this ,
took out fuel rail/injectors, welsh plugged the holes.removed petrol tank,I took advantage of the wires to petrol tank/ fuel pump,
Put the pump wires to the LPG cut off solenoid switch, the petrol pump relay which used to cut off petrol when engine not running (after 3-5 seconds) does the same thing to lpg solenoid-same function as an lpg cut off safety switch.
hooked the petrol fuel gauge wires to sender on LPG tank,as long as you have the corect sender, easy to swap if you havn't,2 screws, your factory dash petrol gauge becomes your lpg fuel gauge.
Put a prime solenoid in, starts first touch.
