i just purchased a modded EF 1994 futura manual, it needs to jump start everytime, im guessing either battery is FUBARed or alternator is not charging battery correctly.
any other possibilities? car runs fine once going.

Grab a multi meter and next time the engine is running, check the battery. The MM will tell you if the alternator is charging. If it is (volts increase when you increase RPM) and the battery actually is holding charge, I would also consider your starter motor.

Same thing happened to my ED - alternator was fine, battery was fine but wouldn't start, just like a flat battery. Threw in another starter and bingo, all fixed.

Cheers
RD

thanks everyone, problem solved.
battery was buggered, and one positive cable was a bit loose i think it has an aftermarket immobiliser(how would i find it) which the remote was working inconsistently, i replaced remote batery and put the car battery from another car in it, now it works well.
