i changed my rear tyres to
245/35/20.. up from the 245/30/20's i had.. the front are 225/30/20... however 2 mins after having the new 245/35/20 on the rear installed and driving away from the tyre show.. i got the (!) /traction control and (ABS) light lit up on my dash.. ??? has a sensor suddenly s**t itself?? BF XR6 Turbo... |

You changed the rolling diameter of the rear tyes compared to the front. It is picking up different speeds of wheel travel front to back. This will confuse the ABS/TCS

thought the 30/ to 35series change might have been the culprit..

problem solved... exchanged the 245/35/20's for a pair of 255/30/20's..

Yep, ABS is a little more forgiving, DSC will cop out with odd sized tyres.
