Hi all
I just finished pulling the gas system out of my old EA wagon in readiness of having it installed in my ED wagon. I have a Sprintgas 70L donut tank and an OMVL R90E converter. This system was on a 3.9 CFI. I have pulled everything out including the copper line. Now all I need is a mixer for MPFI and to install it/have it installed. What sort of mixer should I be looking for or doesn't it matter? I was going to go off to the wreckers and see if anything there has one on and grab that. Budget is tight so I was going to install everything but the lines and wiring but was going to take the current copper line to the installers to see if they could use that to reduce costs. Anyway, any heads up info on the mixer would be great.. Cheers Bruce

Well, it seems I didn't have everything. I went to check the bits and found I didn't grab the plug that plugs into a black thing in the converter to mixer line. After digging round under the dash, I found a box that said Computerized LPG System. Wires from that box have been spliced into the ECU main feeds.
Is this normal? What kind of system is this? And lastly, will this install OK into my ED without the need for things like a new ECU? I'll take pics of everything I have if that helps any. Cheers Bruce

I think you are right. I'll install all the basic system and get them to quote for the rest.

Sorry to bump this, but I am still after what sort of mixer I should grab for the converter I have. If anyone can suggest something, I'll know what I have to look for.
Cheers Bruce

any mixer, gra or impco id recommend. im using impco and since its basically a carby style mixer as long as you have your lock offs hooked up to the fuel pump relay or something then it will work with standard ignition.
