Ok,last week the car just wouldn't start after going to the shops..

I had power to everything but no fuel pump prime or cranking over whatsoever..Smartlock door function works and red light flashes ect..

I called out an auto electrican and he said the ignition relay in the engine bay was fine but for some reason I wasn't getting a negative feed to the relay..He suggested my smartlock barrel was buggered...He then made a bridging wire to go where the ignition relay was and I just turn the key to start and then touch the two wires together and she starts..

So I have just replaced the ignition barrel and done the 30 min reset but still no change...the CRTL fuses along with all the otheres are fine...Can someone please help me..

Hmmm, so it didn't work mate.

Have you replaced the smartlock module itself? They are known to s**t themselves.

As ma and aristo have discussed over pm, i don't think its a smartlock problem, so i have offered my services to him this coming weekend.
