Hi all
I have a AU1 ute fitted with a sprint gas systerm. The tank is under the tray and i was wondering if i can have a second tank that can place in the tray when i go on long trips. I travel long distance every month and would like to be able to frow in the second tank and have it fill frrom the one filler or would i need a second filler? Any help much aprecated. Drawings and scmatics would be great |

its illegal to have removable tanks in automotive applications.

WHS ^^^\ but there is nothing stopping you from getting a 2nd tank installed in the tray, it would then be hooked up to the 1st tank and filled this way as well

You could get a second tank installed and only half fill both if weight is the issue.

remove the Spare wheel and place a tank in there, get a bracket made to mount the spare wheel to the headboard of the tray.
if you have a Tub not Tray, you can get long thin tanks that sir right up the front in the tub and don't take up much space - hold about 55litre's |

Thanks for the info.
I was going to have the tank fitted as it should. But have isolation valves fitted to each tank so as to be able remove the second tank when needed. |
