I have the premium sound in my NL which I fitted, but I can' seem to get the stacker to work, the wiring commects ok, I have 2 stackers, no joy,

If you have tried 2 stackers and no dice, then the problem is in the cable or the headunit, probably more the headunit. Try it with a mid series H/U, to confirm. failing that, it'll be the cable.

Unless your unlucky and both your stackers are no go. :(

Does your stacker get power as in does it go through the searching for the cd at the start? You can hear it when it starts searching for disks.

when you turn the headunit on, does 1 ERR or 2 ERR come up on the CD changer control deck?

Of course you are assuming that the stackers work, have you confirmed that they actually work? It is a mistake that a lot of people make when fault finding using unknown parts....
