HI,
I have a 98 AU Falcon, has done 325,000 kms (not ex taxi) i had LPG fitted at end of 2006 and has been pretty good up until now.
If i have the A/C on, when taking off, the car will change into 2nd fine, then i can feel a power loss and it hesitates to change into 3rd. I cant use cruise control as it keeps kiking it back to second gear while driving along at 100k/h. I can no longer over take as the car just doesnt want to go. I was taking my foot of the accelerator and then putting my foot down and it was fine, now it doesnt work like that. Car runs A1 on petrol and with no A/c on.
Any ideas?
:x

My car is running similarly to this when on LPG, but a/c isn't a factor. Mine has a stepper valve that should be adjusting to allow more LPG flow under power, but when i disconnect the wires to it there is no difference, so i suspect it isn't operating for some reason. Mine is controlled by the LPG ecu, based on data from the HEGA. I don't know if your system is like this, but probably is, being an aftermarket system.
