Hey,

Im lookin to turn my EF Falcon into a project car, at the moment its pretty much stock. Im looking at getting the I6 rebuilt, and worked, but also lookin at a T56 transmission conversion, Im probably looking at spendin up to $15,000 the mechanical side of things!!

ive to decided to go with the stage 4 turbo kits from the snort site ;

http://www.snortperformance.com/ford_fa ... o_kits.htm

But im just looking for suggestions on what specific work i should get, when i rebuild the engine????

ANY SUGGESTION FEEL FREE!
Cheers :D

Stage 3 Snort turbo kit (or similar), and a rebuilt bottom end + worked head.
Auto or manual?

if you want a T56 budget 1500-3gs for the box plus fitting, plus a decent clutch. You'd be nearly on 5 grand with a clutch, tailshaft and fitting, thats if you do it yourself.. plus a decent diff.

go read chef's sticky at the top of the forced induction section and it will give you an idea. Keep the car auto as the btr will handle the power with solenoids adjusted and coolers. You will be stretching it to get a t56 and good figures out of a turbo engine for 10grand. If you want to run stock bottom engine budget around 6 grand for a turbo set up if you do it all yourself except tuning (although I don't like the odds of a 200000km engine standing up to even 8psi of boost for very long, may as well get it rebuilt with lower comp pistions while your at it).

Looooouuuuuudddddddd noises lol, yeah had to say that. Yeah id get the engine rebuilt with stronger stuff before you start doing turbo or supercharge. dont wanna have all this power then it go bang a few months down the track.
