not much to report after going in just more progress...

well um the head looks sexy nice n shiney, helicoiled so all the threads are perfect now YAY! new valves and valve stems in... mmm new engines are sex, the head is slightly more shaved, the block was being decked just as i arrived... its all looking good and should be knocked over by thursday im reckoning!

need to get some more goodies now, EL alloy radiator, and thermos.

might start pulling out my old engine this weekend coming, sand it prep it n paint it.

is an old motor worth anything in scrap IE the alloy head?

so how did it go? hows the motor..... mzake sue u treet it right until its run in

lol f**k forgot about this thread, well im back in brisbane engine is f**k awesome, i dont know how much power its got, its in the garage right now with BLOWN 4.11s and when i replace that ill then get it tuned.

its DEFINATELY got power.. AU XR8 220kw 3" exhaust , and intake mods... 3.45 LSD etc... I stayed dead even with it with 3.08s and its not even tuned. when i put the 4.11's in (knew it had a whine) lasted about 20 mins before it blew up.... but yeah ive never been in a 6 that pushed you into the seat that much. N/A anyway. its gonna be a quick auto 6.

motor has done about 4500km so yea its run in, went in started up with 0 issues which was great.

as soon as i have figures they will be on here.

it had the oil change at 1000kms didnt it?

yes i did the 800km oil change it had the mineral running in oil.... lol it would be f**k by now lol its running 10w 30 synthetic now.

4.11s are in. AWESOME. will get video.
