Here's my tip.....See how Lowndes goes this year with 888...
Their engines are supplied by Stone Bros and he is, in my opinion, in the
top 2 or 3 drivers of the lot. Remember what he did at Bathust last year
with a less than competitive car??

All that said, all the best to Ambrose, the complete professional that he is.

Yep I totally agree, I think now that Lowndes has finally got a decent car he is deffinantly gonna be high up there this year, but I still think Ambrose will be hard to defeat unless he has a string of bad luck. As for Bathurst I hope it will be Fords year, they deserved it last year but they derserve it even more this year! :D

I don't know if Nascar still have races around non oval tracks etc, they used to when d**k J used to race them, just they never used to show that on TV as oval track is the bigger races for them, it was funny to watch as the Nascars looked as graceful as the truck races around Oran Park, I think d**k would probably say the trucks were easier to drive around Oran Park  .

Americans loved d**k's openness to talk while racing, they loved his slang words etc except for the fact he would swear etc on live TV, I think d**k was the best live in car racing commentator of all time, far better than Brocky, it is a real pity we don't see much of this anymore.

Yeah they have two road courses on their calender. That being Sears Point Raceway in California and Watkins Glen. When d**k was racing Nascars they had heaps more road courses. The most famous being the Laguna Seca track. I think Mario Andretti had his stint in NASCAR at around the same time.
