HI guys, i am a new to the Ford world.

Have a problem guys, my smart lock has seemed to have kicked in and now i cannot start my engine. I have done the 30 minutes ignition key trick, but that seems to not have fixed it, and now my Ford is just sitting in the driveway, blocking my other form of transport, Any ideas on how to fix this problem, as i am all out of ideas and couldnt google any answers, the model car is a Falcon Forte Series III

Any help would be great as this is my work car :)

replace the cntrl lmp fuse in the fuse box in the interior (I assume they are still in the interior for the AUs - if it's like the EF's then it's about at the position of the drivers right hand side knee).

isnt it the CRT LMP fuse?

is the interior light working? it runs on the smartlock/smartshield circuit.

if that fuse is blown, smartlock will prevent the car from starting :)

i believe its a 10A fuse. located under the keybarrel behind the cover which pops off.

hi there, the interior light is working, the FOB unlocks and locks, and key turns to ACC - but wont crank to start the motor, i believe that the fuse he may be refering to is Body electronics module - will have to check it out 2morrow or the day after. i was cleaning the car with the radio on, and come to think about it, i did hear a pop type sound, and the radio switched off, so i checked that problem, and the radio still works, cleaned battery terminals and disconnect the battery terminals, but still have the same problem, but as mentioned will check the fuses next.

i think in EB/L's, the BEM plays up sometimes but can be fixed with a disciplined slap

try hitting the dash just above your left knee (i think)

you'll probably find your smartlock module or your ignition pigtail is stuffed and will probably need to be replaced...
