My Falcon was rear ended by a 2001 Commodore last week Monday and although the damage does not look like a lot at first looking at the car the back had only bumper damage but the quarter panels where buckeled and the right rear door would not open the insurance said it is to expensive to fix such damage car is gone.
Does this sort of rear end damage make the car not pratical to fix or if fixed would it be Okay any way the car is finished.

I wouldnt fix it, it'll be stupidly expensive.
EFs can be picked up for under 3 grand in vgc. |

I just bought an '98 EL wagon with almost the exact same damage - hit from behind at around 60Kmh. Their insurance company deemed it a repairable rightoff but the expense of doing so wasn't worth it. I bought it for $400.
