Quick question:

Which has a better performance increase/impact on a DL LTD V8?

Factory air box with K&N Panel Filter
OR
Replacing the factory air box with a pod filter?

I have heard that the factory box sucks in enough air and the K&N Panel filter will do the job better than a pod filter will!!!

imo you use the conbination of all 3..

use a k&n pod filter and fitt it inside the factory airbox...

K&N panel filter with an AU3 XR8 snorkle will flow enough cool air for any EB-EL with the mini maf and HO manifold. Anything else, you're just wasting money.

Don't expect big gains from a better filter, its more the type of thing if you have a bit of spare cash then go and buy one, i would go with banarcus and buy the AU3 XR8/BA XR6T SNorkel and K&N Filter, Podys can work well too but you have to provide either shielding to prevent hot air getting to it or a good source of cold air, which sometimes is more trouble then its worth when you can just go the first option
