The Mondeo loved the long run!. On the way up with a bit of a tail wind we averaged 8.6l/100km and the way back it averaged 9.2l/100km. I had cruise control set at about 121km/h as I've only got 2 points to go on my license, so couldn't risk it. On the way home my sis had it sitting a bit faster for a short while and commented how easily it cruises at the higher speeds.

Everyone was comfortable for the whole trip, no numb bums or anything.

I would really love to lower this car about 30 - 40mm but with the missus driving it, there's a chance the front bumper would be left in the shopping centre carpark. It just clears the kerbs now as it is. Closing the gap in the wheel arches would make a great improvement in the looks department.

I washed her on Monday with the intent of taking some pics but it rained. I was going to give it the once over again today and get the pics but the weather has been s**t-house again. It's summer for god's sake!!!!
