just rang mal wood to get an idea on a price to get my 5th gear ratio changed to a taller item (wanna put 4.11s in my 5 speed el) and they said i'd have to upgrade the internals of the whole box to an v8 spec item ratios etc. they said it makes for a sweet ratio and some rather good acceleration. apparently it'd be a dog with the 6 cyl spec box, i dont under stand why i'd have to change it to an v8 spec and cant just change the 5th gear ratio was talking to a guy from power cruise with an ed 4ltre on plates and thats all he did was change 5th gear. if any one can share some info plz ellaborate.
